A group of top musicians are being asked to leave the country after using a name that some are calling offensive.
The group of singers, songwriters and other artists is asking a court to revoke the artist’s passport, the Associated Press reported on Thursday.
The songwriting duo Addison Rae and Molly Cyrus are the latest musicians to be questioned by U.S. authorities, who are investigating whether the group has violated anti-discrimination laws by using the names “bee gees” and “the song.”
It’s unclear whether the petition is meant to stop the group from performing, or whether it’s a legal request for the group to leave.
The U.K. has similar laws.
