The New York Times recently reported that the song “Lauren” has made more than 30 million copies on Spotify.
But if you’re not familiar with the song, it’s a simple, soulful tune that perfectly sums up Lauren’s spirit.
“It’s been so long since I’ve written something like this, and I feel like I’ve been on a roll lately,” she tells Billboard.
“I have to keep pushing the limits.”
That’s because Lauren was recently honored by the prestigious Whitney Museum of American Music as a 2017 American Artist of the Year.
She received the award at the Whitney Museum on May 17.
The accolade came in recognition of her work with the band La Vie en Rose, a group of musicians from New York City.
In addition to the Whitney, Lauren also received a 2016 Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance, for her work on the song.
The award also recognized her contribution to the art of music, with her performing a medley of songs for the Whitney.
The show is titled “La Vie en Roses” (The Love of Our Roses), and it premiered in 2017 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
The musical tells the story of a family that’s growing old and the relationship between the three of them.
The song, which was inspired by the life of Lauren Daigele, was written during the latter half of Lauren’s life.
The singer, who has been married to her husband and the two of them together for 27 years, shared her life story in a way that was moving and authentic.
“The way the song plays, you’re just listening and thinking, ‘Oh my God, this is the most beautiful thing ever,'” she said.
“You just can’t believe that it’s been going on for so long.
It’s really powerful and beautiful.”
Lauren said the song has been her favorite since the moment she first heard it.
She told Billboard she’s always felt connected to the song’s melody.
“To this day, it still gives me goosebumps,” she said, adding that she is also the one who decides on the lyrics.
“That’s always the first question I have to ask myself.”
Lauren is currently working on a solo album.
She is currently in the midst of recording an album that she hopes to release next year.
