Addison Rae’s zombie song from the hit Netflix series “Zombie” has been made into a full-length video, featuring an array of musical instruments including drums, bass and strings.
Addison Rae, who plays the titular character on the show, is a rapper who was raised in rural Mississippi and has a large following on social media.
He released a song called “Ain’t Got No Heart” with his band, Red Hot Chili Peppers.
“Ain’ got no heart, ain’ gone, got to go,” Rae sings in the song.
“So the world got to be a better place, just like my momma did.”
The video, released on YouTube on Thursday, features the rappers’ signature guitars and drums playing in a series of interlocking video loops, and features a handful of music videos from the series, including one where Red Hot is performing the song in front of a giant TV screen.
“It’s kind of like a zombie apocalypse.
I feel like a kid in the woods and all of a sudden there’s no one left to play with, no one to sing to, no family to call home,” Rae said in a video interview with ABC News.
Rae has since gone on Twitter to praise the video.
“My whole family loves it and my friends think I’m an awesome rapper.
It’s a little bit surreal,” Rae tweeted on Thursday.
